Data Storage

All Hank Builds tools work entirely in your browser. Your data is stored locally using localStorage and IndexedDB, and is never sent to or stored on any server. If you clear your browser data, your saved information is gone — there is no cloud backup.

No Accounts

There is no sign-up, no login, and no personal information collected. You don't need an email address or password to use any tool.

Analytics

Hank Builds collects anonymous usage events (such as "button clicked" or "tool used") to understand which features are helpful. Each event records the event name, the page URL, the site domain, and — when you arrive from another site — the address of the page you came from. There are no cookies, no IP addresses, and no identifier of any kind, so events cannot be linked to you or to each other. Events are sent via your browser's sendBeacon API to a first-party endpoint on hank-builds.com and stored in Cloudflare Analytics Engine. If your browser's Do Not Track setting is enabled, no events are sent.

Third-Party Services

The Recipe Scaler uses a Cloudflare Worker to fetch recipe URLs on your behalf. The URL you provide is used only to retrieve the page content and is not stored or logged. The same tool also shows Amazon affiliate links for kitchen equipment, labelled as such where they appear; following one takes you to Amazon, and we may earn a commission if you buy something. No tracking pixel or third-party script is loaded either way.

No other Hank Builds tool connects to any external service.

Cookies

No cookies are set by any Hank Builds tool.
